My family is a great source of pride for me especially my sister, Becky.  She is a cancer survivor and has M.S. yet continues her work as an award-winning silversmith.  Her tenacity and zeal for life in the presence of adversity is inspiring.  Also, since my mother passed away in ‘96 Becky has been my guide.  It gives me great peace to see my future in her present. 
     At 54 I can’t help but look over my shoulder to see where I’ve been.  While life threw me a curve or two I must admit the journey to today has been good.  As for the future I look forward to bursting at the seams family gatherings, picking out prom dresses, planning weddings, and finally hearing the words, “Mom, you’re going to be a grandmother!”
